changing my choas

at the moment its winning roughly 50% but their are some tweaks i think i could make to improve on it.

wats working:
the bale flamers are worth their weight in gold  they are amazing and they have deffinately won me games :)

the cultists their fearless  and have 90 attacks on the charge plus the lord who now has a deamon weapon to increase damage they really do surprise me every game

wats not working
the deamon prince  in the last game he killed a large unit of warriors and a necron lord then died  to shooting he really isnt worth the pooints

forge feind tends to be better at infantry harrasment then anything else
preds  could do with  sponsons to make them a little better 1 las shot isnt gd enough

so wat can i change ?
 those marked in red  can be taken out this would save me 377 points reducing the list to 1470

for 80pts i can get sponsons on the predators thats somthing ill try
another helldrake is something ill deffinately consider 170

i can add another 6 zerkers  making 2 units of 11 this would increase the list to 53 models 

well see how it goes next week  although  i may be playing fantasy lol

for the necron players + more fantasy shenanigans

so i dont have to talk about necrons  check out kosmick9 its in the links on the right hand side of the page hell be blogging about his endeavors with his necrons. now the plugging is done and dusted

so iv really tried to get into fantasy and it hasnt worked untill now i played my second game  last nite and i am enjoying  it.

the dark elves  have nice models
great  synergy with magic
and their not boring to play

i sill need a few more models to make the army look better ie  the list  n then after a few games ill buy wat i need 2 actually play

wat iv learnt from the games iv played is i need more shooting!! and harder units  to fight with as well as deploying

playing new games

its gd to have other games to play. playing the same game eash week can become stale so a change is in order.  now 40k isnt boring far from it im really enjoying 6th ed and my chaos. iv got plenty of new toys but i have been trying out other games and systems to keep me from stagnating.

so their are numerous things change the aspect of the hobby your in  increase playing painting or reading.

or try a completely different game which iv tried and my warning is dont buy into unless a its cheap or b their are plenty of otehr players

for example i tried a board game by mantic using veer-myn and corparation and its great a simple tactical game that can be used to at the end of a club nite after a main game is played or u cud play a few quick games instead its really addictive

card games  are allways great  fillers  and their  are plenty of games you can play

serious TCG games where u can pay a fortune for new cards to make ur decks better or jus buy starter sets  their fairly cheap  usually 10-12 pounds

or pay and play these contain all the cards u need to play such as braggert or any munchkin games these games are another fairly cheap game that is well worth investing in :)

finally i borrowed my mates dark elves and actually played fantasy and i shuld have done this along time ago, a gd tip borrow stuff before buying stuff saves loads of money!!!! lol  which i actually enjoyed  so ill be borrowing them for abit longer   get used to the game before i make a decision

how goes the chaos findings bugs etc etc

so its been  3 weeks roughly since i posted my list and ideas for how the list will play. and i want to go over  what iv changed and the problems iv been having. firstly  gd points generally winning and holding my ground with the fluff list!! having problems with necrons more on that later.

so what changes have i made i have dropped the hell brutes i love the models but their not that gd so they were replaced with predators with twin linked las canons

the deamon prince now has the black mace which is amazing for taking down multi wounded characters and big ish units of troops

im still undecided on the forgefiend  i like the model but in game its 50/50

the cultists are really impressing me  fearless with a lord and counter attack with overwatch they distract then grind down the toughest of opponents

the bugs in this list are more getting my timings right to disembark my zerkers to charge although i have been using the rhino wall more effectively to block units adn isolate others. the other thing is to much choice i really cant decide what id like in the list i can see a use for everything

gaming problems  necrons are still really tough to beat  their is so much fire power mixed in with tough CC units their a hard nut 2 crack

deamons rumours n stuff

firstly guys its been  a few days since iv posted  but heres  what iv been doing.  iv bought  2 predators for my chaos marine army and dropped the hell brutes in favour of them both have TL las canons.  this increases  my back field at 36" range i have


from  4 different units  these purely slow down vehicles the deamon prince hasnt done much and i really want some raptors lol over the next 5 games  ill keep the prince then for the next set try some raptors.

the airbrush so i can start my chaos marines will be here  next fri then its a mad dash to get them all sprayed white  after that im goin to test  painting the shaded areas black for better controll rather than sprayin them.

so now the borring stuff is out the way lets talk about deamons.  now before the august update and or allies  they were an army for mad and mental people but the few mad or mental people did really well with them.  skip  foreward to the WD update the tzeentchy units that maybe didnt see as much table time as others such as feinds are now every where  boosted stats and an over watch that puts off even terminators from charging them means their now doing amazingly well and the addition of allies means more stable troops can be purchased to leave points for more offensive units.

now the codex is getting a complete overhaul around december january time.  the greater  deamons will all be having new sculpts.  from  what iv heard the great unclean one will now be around the same size and shape as a dreadnought and the bloodthirster will rival the dreadknight the ord of change and keeper of secrets will be somewhere inbetween.

writing a list + chaos faq +general stuff

firstly the chaos  faq is out adn its the shortest 1 iv read  4 bullet points and thats it. which shows how gd its written.

iv not played any more games as of yet but iv seen a new way of writing a lists  so i giving that a go.  basically the list is split into 3 sections

the hell drakes have a long range weapo so they can fire from the turn they arrive thats why their are up front also  d3+1 vector strike hits is great!!  i need to work at opponening up transports faster

im definately dropping the hell brutes they dont do as much as i expected

the forgefeind  is still 50/50  i love the model  its jus not doing as much as i expected it has 6 more games 2 impress me lol :D

chaos marines finding

so iv now played  4 games  with my chaos 3 wins 1 loss yay :)   and iv actually learnt something 

cultists  thier  great a unit of 30 with a khorne lord is amazing!!  their fearless take ages to kill and when charged they counter charge for an impressive 90 attacks (if u have 30 and they all get in lol) but even so  its an impressive number the khorne lord gets plenty of re-rolls in challenges and the unit has a 4+ cover save behind the aegis

khorne lord he mans the autocanon and guns down flying MCs or flyers and hitting on 2s he does a great job or hes in combat chopping down sgts that try and take my objectives

hell drakes really are bread and butter in this army  they take out troops on objectives and tanks  with ease!! i would easily run 3 if i cud find the points for a 3rd

hell brutes these still arent doing that much. im not sure wether i should drop these for something else but im not sure what ill replace it with double melta bikes or double melta raptors not sure which yet or some termies

zerkers  same as usual  they havent changed their still effective at chopping down regualr infantry and now with ap4 chain axes even better vs weaker troops.  im also getting used to having 2 disembark the turn b4 i want 2 charge so rhinos are now used 2 block and funnel troops for example in my game 2 day i used the rhino to force some DA termies 2 charge the forgefeind n saved my cultists lol

forgefeind  generally good although after 10 games i may try dual mauler fiend i think these would be better at tieing up enemy units and stopping tanks and units

well see how it goes over the next 6 games  i have some ideas to change the list

chaos marine first thoughts

i used  my fluffy khorne list VS a shooty deamon tzeentch list  the results  was a loss but thats not important.

firstly the chaos book is great  my main problem is too much choice  i think this is phill kellys best codex yet!!!

as for the units hell drakes are great  although  against a full infantry list they didnt do as much as id hoped

the forgefiend was pretty gd again i reccon against more vehicles it would do better

same for the hell brutes 

the deamon prince i could easily write an article on these by them selves  he was great  he lost 2 wounds turn 2 to a herald but after that right up 2 turn 6 ish he chopped his way thru allsorts of little deamons  

the berzerkers im still struggling to get to grips with disembarking theturn before i want 2 charge. the rhino wall kinda helps  bit more foresight shud help  well see over the next few games

new chaos list new technique+ other stuff

aegis defence line

tactic deploy aegis around terrain to create a fort place objectives around the aegis and make my opponent come to me while my hell drakes and deamon prince fly foreward

the khorne lord sits with the cultist to defend them and increase the rate of success with the quad gun the hell brutes flank the cultists the forge feind sits behind the cultists firing away

if this list doesnt work as the deamon prince hasnt got eternal warrior and im not sure about the hell brutes ill have 465 points to play with so ill add in 2 preds lassed up and go bak to a dark apostle and khorne lord in a transport

for this new army i say technique but its more of an aesthetic thing  but i will be creating a diorama a 2ft by 3ft section that i will turn into a ruined imperial city scape and my army will be either roaming thru it or theyll be hunkered down reppling the forces of the imperium

im sure iv said my airbush broke and i havent had a replacement so the eldar/dark eldar will be left untill i can get a new one and ill take chaos and deamons to the tournament this weekend then week after ill be gettin some more cans of spray and starting my chaos army  my first games of chaos will allso be played this week and ill have reports on how the list did and wat needs to change

exploding from the warp!!! chaos edition

WARNING  this post will contain loads of photos what i like and dislike about the new kits etc etc

from the top people  chaos is officially out (or been out a day allreay this is slightly late i was busying glueing and building things)  this is my double goody bag of chaos goodies  im such a child lol


not much to look at  but whats  inside will complete my chaos army from  models to basing everything ready to paint so lets   get in them bags 
here i think ill jus say the chaos codex is amazing the presentation of the book with embossed writing and full coloured art work  its so much better than  anything else theyve produced so far this is the future of codex's (unless u buy it on ipad lol) along with the price hike.

the first thing i cracked open  was the forgefeind

 as a model  its great  well thought out their are no real odd corner or ends where it will be hard to paint it will stay uprite on a base without glue so you can use it while ur painting it as well which is all gd  the only thing u may need 2 pant seperate is the weapons and shoulder plates  overall a great kit  :D

next is the hell drake this model is slightly more fiddly as the wings overlapp each other means their are bits that would be hard to reach so iv left the wings seperate and te middle wings arent glued in place yet so i can paint up everything

unique fortifications

in the spirit of forging a narrative  why havent we got unique fortifications.  this is a simple fixture  weve seen  orks huts, nid stuff etc.  If you look in the battlefield debris  their are  unique items that could be turned or used as fortifications for example

imperial statue - this could be bought for space marines

shrine of chaos -  this could be the temple of skulls  its big and for what it does  4+ cover behind it and deamons an re-roll failed  inv saves  wud easily match the fortress of redemption although it shouldnt be 200pts  a 100-150  would be better

sheild generators -  this  could easily be something for tau  equal to the price of a imperial tower  75-100 pts as u get a 3+ inv save

spiker plants - this is deffinately one the nids should get for some nid love theyve been battered and bruised a little by 6th ed but the spiker plant has great rules that could emerge while the nids are terraforming a planet  they need to be cheap  or X amout for 100 pts i think 4  that are placed  any where within  your deployment  the base should be

i think orks  could have a shack  with the ram shackled  rules  armour  12  and when it blows  up orks fly everywhere maybe lol 

but well see what the future  holds  the tau rumours are they may get some unique  fortifications

new chaos rumours

iv been working the rumour mill pretty hard  to bring  juicy nuggets  of awesomeness.  their is a leaked codex floating around the internet.  it came out  yesterday so those that want it allready have it.

and im  goin to disprove  some rumours  from what  iv heard

firstly  about the codex  it has a feel  of a 4th ed marine codex  their is a page of wargear artifacts and relics  that each entry refers  to  its a little  fiddly  im sure but  once we get used to it it will be fine

cultists arent cheap!!  its 10 for 50pts then 4pts per model for an extra 25 they can take marks  marks work  slightly differently now  u pay per model rather than a fixed price this isnt a expensive as the old codex thos as most marks are under 5pts per model

this is the same for every other unit u buy so many then u buy so many more like the space marine codex

most special characters are cheap around 160  with abbadon ahriman and typhus  all 200+

DIY characters are expensive a khorne termy lord with a few bells and whistles is around 190
deamon princes are mega expensive base cost 145

flakk missiles are in and expensive  10 for missile  + 15 to upgrade to flakk

the vector strike for the hell drake is str7  not 10

the chosen  terminators  do not get an extra wound and  u cant make a full unit of chosen terminators

the deamon engines all have an interesting rule called deamon forge  once per game u can activate the forge to re-roll dice in the assault or shooting phase at the end of that turn u roll a dice and on a 1 u lose a hull point

demonic possession does restore hullpoints by absorbing a unit embarked on it BUT this happens at the start of the turn ie turn1 or when a unit embarks on the transport  they also ignore crew stunned shaken on a roll of 2+

its bin a while since i uploaded any pictures  of things im  doing so  here your truly has a plethora  of awesomeness iv jus finished a war walker to the point where i can show it off  as well as the wyches and gaurdians.

in other news iv been told  roughly  a new airbrush will be in here in a week and a half that puts me really close to open war. iv changed the list a little and dropped 1 ravager  for a void raven  jus need a flying base for it

iv also  sprayed up 2 ravagers  and ran out of spray  so ill be gettin some more soon

im curently  working on the second  warwalker base iv also made the base for the brightlance  also looking at the trueborn  they look ok so ill start them asap!!

math hammer

its not an exact science but it can be used to decide how effective a unit can be before you deicide to either use it or buy it.  so iv math hammered a few new chaso units to decide there viability

firstly the  process 
i take  a unit  like  the forgefeind with  standard gear which is 2 hades autocanons  then i have 2 decide what im firing at  now i chose  AV12 (av 11 would increase its efficeincy also 12 is the middle ground)  and  against 3+ and T4 armour as most people play marines and its ap4 so no point choosing a lower AP value

so here is how it works   u roll 8 dice take away the misses  with wats left work out if u penetrate or glance the armour value u want then with the same dice check the wounded the T u wrote down if their are any fails remove them then roll for armour saves and write down failed saves so you end up with something like this

from this we can see that the forge feind should be used for light armoured vehicles and light troops you could change that to 3 ectoplasma  canons str8 ap2 then it can be used to take out infantry light or heavy

open war 18

its  only 2 weeks  3 days away and heres what i have done and have left to do

so its mostly  vehicles and bases left to do  once i get my new airbrush  my other 1 broke grr  then ill be able to start and finish them in a few days  the bases  will get done in the next few days.  i need more army painter white.

tournaments and ages

i attended my first officiall 6th ed tournament it was a little  3 game  1 dayer and  what did i learn

flyers are every where  their was 4 necron players and atleast half the tables had atleast 1 flyer on them.  to make my DE  work harder in 6th i need to really step up and change somethings especailly to take out flyers.

the other thing with flyers is at 1750 we should see an average of 4 flyers  (necrons)  mos others  could be 2-3  so my idea for 2 flyers the quad gun and havocs with flakks so thats  3 maybe 4 if i double up on havocs so plenty of air defence. 

after looking at flyers  i only saw  1 fortification and this was the aegis defence line, which is quite interesting and most list still have the 5th ed mind set of plenty of vehicles which shows that were not yet ready to ditch vehicles jus yet.  the other reason is most tournament lists  squeeze every last point of out a list and the idea of spending 100-125pts on a fortification.

now some musings at this tournament their were 2 young lads about 13ish and they both didnt really know enough to play and they didnt really know their codex well enough either.  they lost both their games and then had it fixed so they could play each other  which  makes me think  should their be an age limit on events to save people from being to disheartened if they lose

more chaos rumours

following on from yesterday  the flood gates are really starting to open  now as usual  ill post the  main  rumours in black  and my thoughts  in red!!!

Codex Basics- Written by Phil Kelly - this has been floating around for ages and the fact that it keeps cropping up is pretty gd :)

new chaos rumours + de

well its not really a rumour  but the new WD is out  satdi which means the models will be on advance order satdi so the codex and everything should be out a week or so from this satdi :D

now to bumph out  what would be 2 lines  iv  bought  3 more ravagers  as well as repainting the army i want my ravagers to look nicer than they did before.

my principle is to use a new technique with each army  even tho this isnt a new army i have learnt sum new things air brushing and magnetizing is 1 so im using these on my new models to make them look better :D

1 month till open war

now  where  1 month away from  open war  and here is what i can tick off my list as complete


now thats not to say i havent been busy  painting as i have but no model is fully complete so ill break it down and it doesnt look that bad

dark eldar

all 15 wyches are fully done - they jus need their bases painting
1 venom is done
2 venoms are ready to be painted
the raider needs pre shading then painting
i need 2 buy  (im thinkin of taking 1 flyer with me) ravagers and paint them up
trueborn are based in the army colour they need to be highlighted and painted etc

thats about it for those

farseer is based red but needs more coats and painting
the gaurdians are based but need detail work doing to them
the brightlance needs a base making  and finishing in red then detail work
1 warwalker is completely finished-base needs painting
1 warwalker is sprayed red needs detail work + base
1 warwalker needs everything doing to it

iv signed up to a 1500pts tournament this weekend and i my army doesnt need 2 be painted so im focussing on the gaurdians as theyll atleast need 2 be stuck together shouldnt take that long 2 are allready stuck 2gether

new spray gun

i then have a few peices to do for the club

then i have loads of scenery for my own gaming table to do

deamons got FAQ'd

the FAQ's  are out and about  so heres  whats  important  deamonic assault  has gone!!

no longer do u have 2 split ur army and hope the fickle  dice gods are with you now  the army is split evenly as possible and thats it.  that means thier is a whole new avenue of opportunities you can allways have your troops in the 2nd half and all the hard hitting stuff comming down first.

so lets look at my list that iv been playing so far

blood thirster

plague bearers x10
plague bearers x5

2 rhinos of chaos marines  1 with lord and icon the other has an icon

so i have 9 units and need 2 split the army  into 2 halves 

first half 
soul grinder

this will allways give me my flamers which are the harrasment unit 5 flamers can easily handle transports 3 flamers with gd placement they could put 2 HP on 3 vehicles ths is bcoz people are still in the 5th ed mindset of the parking lot or go for key units like hydras or anti flyer units

the soul grinder has phlegm so its main job is 2 harras units on objectives  same as the flamers

the cavalcade protects the rhinos holding the icons as units come closer they counter charge being armour 11  with 4 HP for the exalted it should last then the unit can do an average of 24 attacks for hammer of wrath if u have full HP on all chariots

then turn 2 the flyers come down to support the chariots in protecting the troops and objectives

give it a go see wat this change makes to playing deamons

general tactics VS flyers

i think 6th ed is shaking of the early days and the bugs are gettin ironed out more and more and were starting to see what is dominating and thats flyers!!

now generally all armies can take the aegis defence line and quad gun or las canon thats 1 peice of anti flyer

you can take your own flyers
u can take an aegis defence line with either gun
u can take allies such as guard for hydras
eventually flakk missiles will be available for dev squads

so at 1500 points if u see  an average of  3-4 flyers  ull need 3/4 

at 1750  if that doubles  then take 5 anti flyer 

u wont need 2 spend loads of points  on this  as dependng on set up a flyer may only be on the board for 2 turns untill it goes back into reserve so on each run u can slowly grind them down and if u have your own flyers then u wont need that many

have a look at allies for your army that can take anti flyer weapons get a defence line and your own flyers will be the best combo

so after  being told that the necrons flyers of doom are awesome and they can still get in and out regardless of wat the vehicle does its sparked some massive debates

what happens when a zooming night scythe is destroyed???

before  gettin FAQ'd the rule book states that if it is destroyed then they cant disembark from the night scythe they have to come on from the board egde whch to me seems to suggest that it works like the monolith they arent actually in the vehicle.

“Invasion Beams:
A unit that begins its Movement phase
embarked upon a Night Scythe can disembark before or after
the vehicle has moved (including pivoting on the spot, etc) so
long as the vehicle has not moved more than 36". If the Night
Scythe moves more than 24" in the same turn, the disembarking
unit can only fire Snap Shots.”

right  now lets add that to the codex rules a unit can embark or disembark as long as u dont move more than 36" if the vehicle is destroyed the unit then enters resere and will arrive on the next turn as normal

now wat happens to the vehicle crash and burn will still happen as normal as all flyer follow the same rule BUT the necron codex and FAQ over rule the main rule book for the unit so the unit does not take any str10 hits  but follows the above!!!

this make necrons even better  than before

its over 2k

wow  its  come round really fast  and again id like to say a big thanks to every one that reads what i post whether it be a one off coz i popped up while u were googling or those who tune in for certian things like painting or dark eldar stuff or jus read everything

helps me get all the crazy out lol so stay tuned 

building a list for 6th ed

6th ed has been out for a while now (ish)  and  i thought id  update my general army building tips from 5th as a few things have now kinda changed.  firstly  lets  go back over the 4 main things for a list.

mobility - whether its deep striking or turbo boosting skimmers the army needs to be able to get around
anti tank - we all know the metal boxs of doom are on every table so a gd codex needs long mid and close  range  anti tank or a mixture
anti air - this is a new 1 most codex's can have several flyers their hard to bring down so u need a plan!!
CC unit - whether its decent troops a death star or a speed bump units it should have some CC units this will differ from codex to codex but each codex will have 1 or 2 dedicated CC units at least
allies - we can now atleast take allies  this will work really well for synergy as you can choose an army that will cover any weaknesses your list has

synergy - the list needs to be able to work together the units should perform certian jobs to help other units and in the long run help u win :D

so  like last time ill use my dark eldar 1750 list although those who  read the other 1 will see their arent many changes lol

ok so lets run the new list thru the new criteria 

mobility  everything is still fast vehicles  so my DE troops can go foreward and i have a unit sat back on my objective
anti tank  11 lance weapons with 36" range  12 blasters with 18" range and 2 units with haywire grenades then i have warwalkers with 36" range and they can go for light vehicles up2 av12
anti air - now i use warwalkers in conjuction with guide and they do really well although av12 flyers are harder to taek down needing 6's followed by 6's
CC unit i have  my wyches  and 1 has vect so i can win some combats jus gotta choose squishy things lol
 allies  the eldar  give me  anti  tank anti infantry  pyschic defence and  an extra scoring unit

synergy  adding the eldar with all their benifits has made a difference in most games  especially at shutting down enemy psykers

another side note  is fortifications now some armies wont need them  but  i suggest if u have a shooting army or ur allies are the shooting side who will be sat back then get the aegis defence line with a quad gun theyll help  secure objectives  provide cover and give u added anti tank they can also give cover to tanks as well!!

6th ed deamons

i went to play my mate on sunday against his deamons and after the game we discussed a list for 6th ed, although hes stubborn and only plays a mono god list  iv pulled the some units from the codex  that iv used and think will fit better into 6th ed if this list is more consistent then ill use it more often after the list ill go thru  each bit by bit  :D(pay attention rich this is how u do a tactica)

iv changed from  the fateweaver and heralds  as  BT can do several roles on the battlefield  firstly  take out flyers  with vector strike at str8 secondly they are  str9 on the charge so they can easily take out vehicles without smash  thirdly their  toughness 6 4wounds  theyll survive overwatch to attack squishy key units or tie up bigger units with a challenge

after seeing them at 500 and how effective they are  up the points by 2/3  and triple the units their amazing  in the game vs nids  they  took out  2 units of stealers  a trygon 3 hive guard and 3 zoanthropes and 1 unit took 1 wound (i will say i mis read flamers on overwatch so i made a mistake their and thats where the trygon died so it may have killed a unit)  but the fact remains on the battle field theyll drop vehicles  with glancing death  or harras squishy units longfangs or other troops

standard troops really they do what they allways do sit on objectives  and try not 2 die before the game ends lol

Heavy support
soul grinder  can slow down  tougher units with combat and shoot at vehicles or troops with his blast attack as well as protect the plague bearers

the seeker cavalcade didnt really do much in hind sight  if u choose to use this unit play them aggressively  as a speed bump either charging into vehicles to create a blockade or go for the the big nasty stuff jus make sure u can get all 3  from cavalcade into base 2 base  to get the hammer of wrath as this is where all the damage will come from


a cheap lord  2 protect A) the unit hes with and B) the plague bearers thats all u really need

this section i may change  normal marines  u get more but not being fearless is a big hassle so ill look 2 change these to either  a specialist troop unit OR culist when the new dex comes out i may even jus take 1 troop unit and squeeze the hellbrute in !!

forming the chaos warband

my dark eldar  have been the glass hammer that have so far served me well.  but as tzeentch says the only constant is change and with so 2 new codexs comming out (chaos marines +deamons) where getting closer to the change. 

iv struggled with the concept for my chaos  for ages  keep them as loyalists using the chaos book was my first  idea  then i coulds still keep original world eaters as i wanted to do fill them out and make a full armoured company  that is in most heresy books  usually somthing like this

my second idea go full chaos  as i want some of the new models they look amazing.  especially the hellbrute  and dragon flyer but then the old world eaters wouldnt fit 

so my final idea  is this  to have the legion style lay out as above  with  my original world eatersadn everything else slowly falling into chaos  ill keep the original blue/white colour to keep the army cohesive on to the chaos armour and then add more blood red to show them turning to khorne.

ok guys  dark vengeance is here  so lets  get to it 

firstly  the box  is  lovely and glossy lots better than the  black reach 1 

as you can see lovely  :D  hehe  although  6 dice  isnt enough  lol here is the lay out of the box. their is lots of space  that could have been shrunk a little.
here is the chaplian not snap fit. its lovely with plenty of detail at this point ill mention every model is full of detail since their  mostly snap fit ill post pics in a seperate article!!

next is the roster for each army it doesnt  give points  values for anything  jus the equipment  if u flp it over their is a quick reference sheet for the armies and special rules that youll use


next is the  seal  pack  this contains  the rule book more of the same sheets  and a how to pay intro  giude with rules and missions as well as a book or building all the models.

wyches armour done!!

first n foremost since grandad nev has has been reading the blogs  ill point out that he very graciously let me borrow his airbrush and compressor to use. their u go nev sum recognition

so iv bin busy and fully highlighted 10 wyches  4 left to do!!!

i also have a few extra wyches that im painting up as well.

even more spraying

so  iv started the days  spraying  by getting a new can of spray paint and spraying the last few bits and peices  white. the  only thing left to spray white  are the  vehicles.

so whats left to do 

2 ravagers
1 raider

need to be sprayed white

3 venoms pre shading with black
2 ravagers pre shading with black
1 raider pre shading with black
8 gaurdian arms needs pre shading with black
1 warwalker needs pre shading with black
1 gun platform needs pre shading with black

3 venoms spraying in first colour
2 ravagers basing in first colour
1 raider basing in first colour
8 gaurdian arms needs spraying blood red
1 warwalker needs spraying blood red
1 gun platform needs spraying blood red

after all that the entire army will be based at the very least in their first  colour  then i have to paint all the detail on them later 2day the pre shading will be done  and the blood red will be sprayed on the arms

more spraying

so iv done abit more keep plugging at  it  :P so what have i done  iv  shaded all the gaurdians that i had sprayed white  then iv sprayed them blood red as well as half a warwalker.

so whats left to do with the eldar contingent:

the farseer needs spraying red
2 gaurdians need spraying white shading and spraying red
1 warwalker needs spraying a little more with white then shading then doing red
1 platform needs abase making then spraying white then shading then spraying red

the arms ofthe gaurdians need spraying white shading and spraying red

after all that they need highlighting with blazing orange and the gems are green!!  then their done

so iv been mega busy with my airbrush  and done  plenty of hardcore spraying  i kno have  this many models left to base

GW reply wat a surprise

well  gw  have  replied and thoroughly surprised, they are sending me a free  exalted seeker kit!!  so the little guy won :D 

so now with the original  kit ill be building the exalted seeker chariot so without further a do lets go!!!
this kit will be done in parts for ease of transporting it

firstly front chasis assembly

done  here is the  pic it was easy  enough!! lol

next  the combine  harvesters of doom!!!

that was  easy again  and  it attaches to the chasis in the middle u may not need 2 glue it but heres how it will look.

now its time to put 2 gether the steeds that will pull the mights combine harvester of doom!!

here how its looking so far  its a huge model transporting  3 of these will be hard

now its time to buil the to chasis  at this point check the depth of where it will be carried  i reckon this kit will be 3.5 inch tall mayber taller which means ull struggle 2 fit it in standard GW cases

now  from here on it gets fiddly  as im keeping it a all seperate untill i fgure out how much space i need and for painting
